This one came in via Anja who very kindly pointed me in the direction of her video stream on youtube. This video is brilliant because you can see just how high the mach 2s are foiling compared to the bladriders etc.. The funniest bit is rider SUI 3247 coming in to the gybe way out of control and nearly taking out the marker and the rescue boat (3mins 42)!! It’s also clear that some of the boats are completely set up right and appear to just fly through the rough conditions yet others seem just that little bit more unstable. Still.. great footage and thanks once again to Anja for pointing this one out..
By the looks of it, she should be the official moth camera woman for all high profile events in the future!

Thanks a lot for this very nice comment on my video. I’m glad you like it.
There was such a strong wind and the boats were incredible fast, and you can really see it on the video.
“Official moth camera woman for all high profile events” sounds very good, because sometimes I have difficulties getting on a boat: like Kiel Week or Skiff Mania/Ammersee – I had to film that from a rowing boat. At the Gorge (and Horsens too) it was great, I could be out on a boat everyday.
The scene with Mikis is crazy, but I think I missed it, when he collided with the assassin boat.
Anyway this years capsizing video will be very good, much better than Torbole or Weymouth.
