Camp epoxy was still there, I think it's just changed format with people swapping out broken bits for new ones rather than fixing... All very secret squirrel too!

Hi Phil - weather forecast looks better for today so you should be able to get your mojo working again. Must admit the photo of the Germans in drysuits in the pissing rain was pretty scary. Hope the boat holds together OK but if it does not remember to sing: "The hills are alive with the smell of epoxy. A smell to be smelt for a thousand years!". Good luck mate!

Hey Guys, been following your blog and very impressed with all the details you have supplied. If you require any help with the different applications and uses of Durepox please feel free to contact me.

We have currently been specing paint profiles for the "DNA" A Class Catamarans and saving them 2.5 kg on paint application compared to the standard paints they have been using.

The biggest hurdle for the home builder is the availability of professionally built foils.
A little while back you could not buy a set from a professional builder, without getting a boat in the deal.
Luckily there is people like Mike Cooke, who are happy to help along this important part of the moth class by selling foil sets to home builders.(Black boat manufacturer take note)
Moth performance largely comes down to foils.
Dave has done well and tweaked the sh#t out of his boats, but that would NOT have been possible without professionally built foils and bits from Fastacraft.

It was great to meet you properly at Parkstone, Phillipe. I think, having seen it, it has to be said the build quality of your new boat is truly exceptional and easily on a par with any professionally built boat. You have redefined the "homebuild" standard and you should be immensely proud of your achievement.
