She’s gone….

Published on December 30th, 2009

A sad day indeed, Supermistress has left the building. She has gone to a loving home in the guise of John Ramshaw (below) who will be joining the Queen Mary moth squadron early in 2010.

John has already showed promising signs of the dedication required to be a successful mothie in that he came down to view the boat on the one day that we were snowed in with treacherous ice up our semi rural road! Then to top it off, we spent a couple of hours today going over boat rigging techniques with the boat park half submerged in water and relentless drizzle so hats off to you John and welcome to the best class in the world!

One happy new mothie!

One happy new mothie!

So now the next step is to meet up with Mike Cooke next weekend at the Bloody Mary and go over the schedule for the ninjaville project and arrange a visit to Aardvark hq over in Bristol to pick up the moulds and various pieces of carbon tubing etc.

Once I’ve got the moulds, I’ll be measuring up for a celotex oven (for curing)  which needs to be built before anything.

It’s great to be back blogging again as it seems the mothosphere has been decidedly quiet of late with only a few updates going on??? Our antipodean friends have been particularly quiet considering it’s summer in the southern hemisphere!
